How to join the RRVT Association & help improve the trail

The Raccoon River Valley Trail has a user fee of $2 per day or $10 per year. You can buy the trail passes at well-marked venues, and in trailside strongboxes, along the RRVT.

However, if you really want to help develop the trail, please consider buying a membership in our Raccoon River Valley Trail Association. Individual membership is $20 per year, and that includes a trail pass for the year. Family memberships are $35 per year, and include two trail passes for the year.

The association is a 501.C3 non-profit corporation, so your membership fee is a tax deductible contribution, although the trail pass portion of it is not.

Of course, if you decide you want to contribute more than the minimum annual fee, we will appreciate your gift and we will put it to good use in helping market and enhance the RRVT experience.

Memberships purchased in the last quarter of a year – October, November and December – are good for the following calendar year and come with a trail pass good for that next year, too.
