Was that a mountain lion sighted on the RRVT?
Perry, Iowa, 22 July, 2016

Jim Miller of rural Waukee was doing his favorite early morning ride on Thursday, July 21, on the Raccoon River Valley Trail. Just southeast of Perry, at his usual turn-around point to return to Waukee, he "saw movement to the right about 75 yards ahead. The animal ran out of the brush which gave me a profile view, then it ran down the trail the same direction I was going, but cut left into the brush. It was most certainly a mountain lion." ...
