Here is the right-of-way through the small town of Jamaica in Guthrie County that the new 33-mile “North Loop” of the Raccoon River Valley Trail will go through. The expansion of the RRVT system, which will eventually be 89 miles, took a big jump forward with the news on Wednesday, June 10, that the Vision Iowa board has awarded the project $1.6 million.
