COOPER, Iowa, October 11, 2007 – About 200 people and 15 dogs — 11 of them in costume — took part in the second annual Fall Festival on the Raccoon River Valley Trail on October 6. The festival featured a wide variety of activities up and down the trail. We had hoped for more people, since the weather was so nice. But still, the crowd was a huge increase over last year’s. “So if we can keep building on that, this could become a really nice event,” says RRVT Association President Carla Offenburger.
